What is my Flat Rate?
Our office is located in Elgin, Illinois so the flat rates are based on shipments out of Illinois.  All Midwest states have a $12 rate, Eastern and Southern states ship at $17, and Western and Southwest states (including AK and HI) ship at $22.  There is no limit to the size of your order, so feel free to stock up and we'll pay the difference!  You'll see your rate when you check out under the Standard heading.
Do you ship to APO addresses?
Yes, we'll be happy to ship to your loved one who is stationed overseas!  One word of caution:  If your package is going outside of the U.S., we will only encourage that you order non-perishable items such as cookies or crackers.  Breads, muffins, and pizza crust prefer to be cold, so we can only ensure freshness on short trips.  If you place an order and we think there might be an issue, we'll be sure to let you know.

We're not a brick-and-mortar store like you're used to seeing!  We supply our goodies to stores who want to treat their customers well.  You won't actually find a store front with our name, but be sure to check our Locations page for our list of locations near you.  If you don't find one conveniently located, you can always (24x7) order online and we'll ship your goodies.  Allow 5 days processing time before shipping.  Of course, we'll notify you when your order is shipped!
I was just about to place an order and my address bar has informed me that the website is "not secure". Now I am worried to enter my CC info. 
Our website is secure using https technology.  If you are on a public Wi-Fi, you may have received this message before entering payment information.  Your best security to use a secure internet service when entering any kind of financial information online.  If you are concerned, then we suggest you use PayPal rather than type in your credit/debit card number.  PayPal has an additional layer of security as well as being very convenient to use.
Good morning Cindy! when I heard about your company, I was so happy! I have a quick question, are we able to pick up items ordered at Dream Kitchen? I live in South Elgin. 
Yes!  When you check out with your shopping cart, select Local Pickup as your shipping preference.  You'll see in the instructions that when your order is ready, we'll text you to arrange a time for pickup.  Our home office is also available as a pickup location and is right at the border of Elgin and South Elgin, just west of Randall Road if that's more convenient.
I placed my order last week.  When will it be shipped and when will I receive it? 
We have up to a 5-day processing time so that factors into the delivery of your products.  This is because we don't have a large warehouse stored up with inventory.  Our products are very fresh and so we don't keep them lying around!  Due to the holiday weekend, there was an additional day to factor into the delivery, as our shippers prefer to take both Sunday and holidays like Memorial Day off.  We do too!  Just know that we're working to get you your order as soon as possible!  You'll receive an email when your order has been shipped and it will include the tracking number so that you can track your shipment.  We use UPS and USPS so if you have a number that you can't find on one site, check the other.
What about the hot weather?  How will I receive my package? 
We mark the boxes with a bright yellow sticker alerting the shippers that the box contains perishable items.  They then make sure that the box is the last one to be loaded onto the truck (kept in a cool place during the loading process) and delivered first. If the order is going to a warm location, we include an ice pack to help keep the food cooler longer.  All of the items can be left out at room temperature for at least 7 days, so the only issue we have is if the shipper does not properly handle the package or loses it.  If that happens, we will gladly replace all items that didn't make it to you in consumable condition.  If you possibly can, check your tracking number of your package so that you know when it is delivered and get it into the refrigerator as soon as possible.  When the temps are triple digits, it's especially important!
